Bimini, Bahamas: Part 3 - A Day Full of Adventure and Relaxation

Day two in Bimini dazzled us! From the infinity pool’s stunning views to the Dolphin House’s artistry and a beachside shipwreck, we soaked in adventure and calm. Snorkeling at Radio Beach capped a perfect mix of thrill and chill—Bimini’s magic shines!

Day two in Bimini was nothing short of magical. The island is truly a blend of adventure and relaxation, offering the best of both worlds. Our morning kicked off with a visit to the resort’s infinity pool, where the view was just as stunning as the pool itself. Floating in the warm water, we could see the crystal-clear blue ocean stretching endlessly in the distance, and it felt like we were swimming right into the horizon. The perfect way to start a tropical day!

After some time lounging by the pool, we hopped into our golf cart for a tour around the island. Our first stop was the world-famous Dolphin House, a truly unique and artistic gem of Bimini. The house was built by Ashley Saunders, a man whose creativity and passion for the island are reflected in every inch of this stunning structure. We were lucky enough to meet Ashley himself, and he graciously gave us a personal tour of his masterpiece. His knowledge of the island’s history and his vision for preserving its natural beauty made the experience unforgettable. The Dolphin House, built from local materials and adorned with mosaics and sculptures, tells the story of Bimini in the most artistic way.

After leaving the Dolphin House, we made our way to one of Bimini's most intriguing sights—a shipwreck right on the beach. The wreck, which has become a part of the island’s folklore, stands as a haunting yet beautiful reminder of the island's rich maritime history. We marveled at the rusted remains, imagining what life must have been like for the ship’s crew as they faced the challenges of the sea.

Our appetites were starting to grow, so we made our way to Bimini Big Game Bar and Grill for lunch. The food was absolutely delicious! We indulged in fresh seafood, local specialties, and refreshing drinks, all while overlooking the crystal waters. The laid-back vibe of the restaurant perfectly captured the essence of island life, and we left feeling satisfied and ready for the next adventure.

The afternoon was dedicated to the beach and snorkeling. We headed over to Radio Beach, one of Bimini’s most stunning and peaceful spots. The water was calm, and the visibility was perfect for snorkeling. We spent hours in the turquoise waters, swimming. The beach was tranquil, with soft sand beneath our feet and the gentle sound of waves lapping at the shore—ideal for a relaxing afternoon.
