Bimini, Bahamas: Part 6 - A Journey From Paradise to Disney Magic
Our last Bimini day came too soon! We said goodbye to friends and the island’s beauty, ferried to the airport, and flew to Fort Lauderdale. Then, a drive to Disney World for dinner with Csilla kicked off our next adventure!
The final day of our Bimini adventure arrived far too quickly. After a restful night, we packed up our things, knowing we’d be saying goodbye to the stunning island and the memories we had made. We met up with the Daraban family one last time to bid farewell. It’s always tough to say goodbye to good friends, especially when you’ve shared so many special moments together, but we promised it wouldn’t be the last time.
After parting ways with them, we headed to the ferry dock for our ride back to the airport. The ferry gave us one last look at the crystal-clear waters of Bimini, and as the island receded into the distance, we couldn’t help but reflect on the incredible time we had spent there.
The short 20-minute flight from Bimini to Fort Lauderdale was smooth and quick. Once we arrived, it was time to say our farewells to Nagypapa and Nagymama, who had been with us throughout this journey. It’s always tough to part, but we knew we’d see each other again soon.
We rented a car and drove the few hours to Disney World, excited for the next leg of our trip. First stop: Disney Springs, where we met up with Csilla for dinner at Eet, an Indian restaurant. The food was delicious, and it was a perfect way to unwind after a day of travel. We caught up with Csilla, sharing laughs and stories, before heading to our hotel, Old Key West, for a much-needed rest.
As we laid our heads down, it felt like the perfect end to a whirlwind trip. Bimini had been paradise, and Disney World was the next magical chapter. We couldn’t wait to see what the next day would bring.
