My Solo Trip to Walt Disney World (Round 2)

A photographic journey of Walt Disney World

How it all started

I had the opportunity to have another solo trip to Disney World. The last one was fun, but crazy because it was just an overnight trip, which normally if you live in Florida doesn't sound too crazy, but I live in California. If you haven't seen it, read how it went last time. This time I was able to spend 4 days in Disney World solo.

Because it was just me, I decided to take my camera gear with me. Normally I keep it at home because it's a lot to carry around.

My gear

For all you photo nerds out there (like me) here was my set up.

Camera

  • Nikon D600 Full Frame DSLR

Lenses

  • Nikkor AF-S Micro 105mm 2.8 VR (pro lens)
  • Nikkor AF-S 18-35mm f/3.5-4.5
  • Nikkor AF-S 28-200mm f/3.5-5.6
  • Nikkor AF 50mm f/1.8

The Photo Journey

I have created a photo gallery of the photos I took while I was at Disney World. If you never took the time to just walk around, sometimes slowly, through all the parks without having to worry about getting to the next ride, or running to the next meal, or making sure everyone is having a great time in your party, then this is a game changer for you.

When you slow down and look at the nature, architecture, and things that surround you at Disney World, it changes your perspective. There are things I never saw at Disney World that I saw during this trip because I was able to just focus on walking around and discovering things. Sure, there were times I had to get to a ride or a meal, but I really just focused on what makes Disney parks enjoyable.

If you want to see what that looked like to me, please view the photo album.
