Universal Orlando – Day 5: A Magical Farewell
From VelociCoaster thrills to a dazzling CineSational finale, our last day at Universal Orlando was pure magic—dinosaurs, wizards, storms, and all.
Our final day at Universal Orlando started with a mix of early birds and sleepyheads—but both crews made the most of every magical moment! 🌄✨
Four of us were up bright and early to take advantage of early park hours at Islands of Adventure. We headed straight for the thrills, kicking off the morning with a ride on the incredible VelociCoaster (because why not wake up with a dino-powered adrenaline rush?). 🦖🎢 After that, we wandered through Hogsmeade, soaking in the magical details and hopping on Forbidden Journey—a must-do every visit.
From there, we took the Hogwarts Express over to King’s Cross Station and arrived in Diagon Alley, where we sat down for a cozy and delicious breakfast at the Leaky Cauldron. The theming was spot-on and the food had that perfect touch of wizarding-world flair. 🪄🥓🍳

The rest of our group met up with us just in time for a ride on Escape from Gringotts, and we spent the afternoon enjoying a few more rides together before the inevitable Florida thunderstorm rolled in. ☔️⛈️
Instead of calling it quits, we pivoted and headed to CityWalk to see the new Jurassic World: Rebirth movie. 🦕🎬 It turned out to be a perfect break from the weather and a fun escape into more dinosaur drama.
Once the skies cleared, we squeezed in a few more rides, did some souvenir shopping, and explored the brand-new Wicked store, complete with costume displays and themed merchandise that had us all dreaming of Oz. 💚✨

We ended our incredible trip with a bang—watching the CineSational nighttime show at Universal Studios. It was breathtaking, with fireworks, water fountains, projections, music, and even drones lighting up the night sky. 🎆💧🎥
It truly was the perfect finale to a week of adventure, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Universal, you were EPIC. Until next time! 💫
