Room 1513 at a glance
Our home base for this tour was room 1513 in the Villas at the Grand Floridian, a 2-bedroom villa with a resort view.
If you have been wondering what you actually get with a 2-bedroom villa here, this is the walkthrough so you can see it before booking.
A real kitchen and a place to eat together
The villa has a full-sized kitchen, not a kitchenette, which makes a big difference when you are traveling as a family.
Right alongside it is a dining area, so there is an actual table where everyone can sit down together.
Beds for everyone
With 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, nobody has to fight over the sink in the morning.
For sleeping, there are 3 beds plus 2 Murphy beds, one full size and one single. That is a lot of flexibility for a group, whether you are bringing grandparents, friends or just want everyone to have their own spot.
That balcony
The feature we keep coming back to is the balcony. It stretches the length of both bedrooms and the living room, with 3 separate access points.
That means you can step outside from more than one room, and it feels less like a balcony and more like a long porch for the whole villa.
Is it worth it?
If you are thinking about booking a 2-bedroom villa at the Grand Floridian, our honest answer is yes, it is well worth it.
On top of the space, the location makes it easy to get to Epcot and Magic Kingdom on the Monorail.
